First & Only Short Track U.S. Nationals Test Saturday at Bristol

Short track racers hoping to fine tune their race cars for the second running of the Short Track U.S. Nationals presented by Vore’s Welding will have an opportunity to do so this weekend.  Bristol Motor Speedway (TN) will be hosting the first-and-only open test for the event on Saturday, May 12.

The open test will be open to all competitors and divisions that will be competing during the Short Track U.S. Nationals, May 18-20.

Significant amounts of track time should be available for all cars, however the specific amount of practice times per division will be determined once a total car count is established.

Pit gates at Bristol Motor Speedway will open at 8 a.m. Saturday morning and practice will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Crew passes for the Short Track U.S. Nationals test day will be sold on-site during the day of the test.  Pre-registration is required to participate in the open test.

Speed51.com will be attending Saturday’s test day to provide live Trackside Now coverage, as well as behind-the-scenes video coverage from the Last Great Colosseum.
