Salem, IN (September 14, 2018) – Senneker Performance Rookie of the Year candidate Jon Beach is still leading the 2018 Cometic Gasket Hardcharger standings after nine ARCA/CRA Super Series point events so far this season Beach has now gained a total of 31 positions so far this season. Beach gained eight positions in the series last event at Winchester Speedway on Labor Day Weekend after he was forced to start from the tail after not being able to qualify because of an engine failure during practice. Beach’s team replaced the engine on that Sunday night and Beach was ready for the 100 lap event on Monday afternoon. The series next event will be the Central Transport Glass City 200 at Toledo Speedway Saturday night, race three of the Chase for the Championship.
Three time ARCA/CRA Super Series Champion Johnny VanDoorn is in second with 10 gained positions so far this season. Hunter Jack and the EDCO Racing Team are tied for third with nine gained positions. Carson Hocevar is in fifth with six gained positions.
